A New Learning Resource for Teachers and Students

Designed to enhance language skills, the Learning Center offers interactive and engaging activities through a subscription-based online program. These activities include:

• Building reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills as they are used in real-world contexts.

• Incorporating essential subskills, such as skimming, scanning, and making inferences.

• Accelerating language acquisition with visual and audio prompts and cues.

• Supporting communicative language teaching.

The Online Learning Center's Activities Include:

• An "Exploring Language" feature to raise students' linguistic awareness, with shorter text-completion activities like notes, emails, announcements, brief biographies, and book extracts.

• Intensive, in-depth writing and speaking practice, such as summarizing a lecture or explaining a homework assignment.

• Theme-based units with learning material and objectives common to a wide range of curricula.

How It Works

Teachers assign activities to students to enhance their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills. Each student progresses at their own pace through the online exercises, while teachers monitor progress and provide feedback via the platform. The program concludes with a practice test to familiarize students with the test format and help identify strengths and areas for improvement.
